COLORS OF DIVERSITY

Asociatia Art&Heritage este o organizatie cu statut non-guvernamental si se ocupa cu promovarea Conventiilor UNESCO si implementarea acestora prin diverite actiuni artistice si educative. In anul 2015 se implinesc 10 ani de la ratificarea Conventiei UNESCO asupra Protectiei si Promovarii Diversitatii Expresiilor Culturale (Paris 2005), conventie la care Romania a aderat in anul 2006.

Echipa Asociatiei Art&Heritage are ca membri 93 de experti in domeniul proiectelor UNESCO, artisti, muzeografi, istorici, jurnalisti care au sustinut Conventia inca din etapa de scriere a acesteia si au facut echipa comuna in promovarea si ratificarea textului Conventiei in cadrul Conferintei Generale UNESCO din 2005.

Pentru a puncta importanta Conventiei UNESCO asupra Protectiei si Promovarii Diversitatii Expresiilor Culturale (Paris 2005) si modul in care aceasta a ajutat la gandirea unor proiecte comune cu membrii altor state care au aderat la Conventie, asociatia Art &Heritage va organiza in vara anului 2015 un sir de expozitii, conferinte si activitati artistice in toate localitatile unde au avut loc evenimente legate de promovarea si implementarea obiectivelor Conventiei – Medgidia, Calimanesti, Rasnov, Gura Humorului, Botosani, Sucevita, Vatra Dornei, Sighisoara.Caravana „Colors of Diversity” va reuni intr-un sir de activitati membrii Asociatiei care vor sustine ateliere de creatie, concerte, expozitii, sesiuni de comunicari.Si-au aratat interesul de a participa in caravana „Colors of Diversity” membrii Art&Heritage din Taiwan, Italia, Georgia, Turcia, Lituania, Ucraina, Bulgaria, Cehia, Franta, Mexic, Slovenia, Croatia, Finlanda, Columbia, Spania.

Evenimentul final va avea loc in data de 20 August, 2015 in sala Acvariu la Muzeul National al Taranului Roman. Se va organiza o masa rotunda dedicata Conventiei UNESCO asupra Protectiei si Promovarii Diversitatii Expresiilor Culturale (Paris 2005) urmata de prezentarile participantilor la Caravana si expunerea lucrarilor realizate in timpul Caravanei.Expozitia va fi deschisa publicului in perioada 20-30 August, 2015.

TIME ... 4  MIHAI EMINESCU

BOTOŞANI

The project is dedicated to the historic dimension of Botosani and a poet which is considered the biggest romantic of Romanian poetry – writer, publicist, poet Mihai Eminescu.

The most important personality of Romanian literature, Mihai Eminescu early years and first poetry exercises are connected to this place and its unique multicultural and multi religious identity. A visionary person of his times, he broke the rules in poetry, in social life and created a new unique attitude in the last romantic breath of XIX Century.

„The Time” Newspaper Chief-Editor he imposed a new vision on Romanian journalism, freedom of thinking and doing education through press articles. The title of our project „Time ...4 Mihai Eminescu” is meant to accentuate this aspect of his activity, bringing it to modern times.

During 10 days a group of 12 artists from different countries – Iran, USA, Ukraine, Finland, Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Romania will follow the roots of Mihai Eminescu in Botosani. The journey will include Putna Monastery, an important place for the poet, as well as visiting the Memorial Museum of Mihai Eminescu in Ipotesti.

After 3 days of documentation project will include workshops of study of Eminescu vision on culture, religion and society, as well as a small research on his love poetry.

By the end of the workshop will be organised a conference dedicated to the poet and an art exhibition.

Exploring the cultural routes of life and activity of the Romanian National Poet, the artists will have the chance to illustrate in their painting the landscape and the spirit of the places the poet belonged to. Every artist will leave 4 paintings in order to enrich the art collection of the City Hall of Botosani. The organisers will cover all the accommodation, meals and painting material expenses and local transportation. The travel expenses to Romania and back to the country of origin are  supported by the participants.

Vatra Dornei  is a city in north-eastern Bucovina well known for spa and ski resorts.Vatra Dornei is the fifth largest urban settlement in the county, with a population of 13,659 inhabitants, according to the 2011 census. It was declared a municipality in 2000, being the newest and smallest municipality in the county. The city administers three villages: Argestru, Roșu and Todireni. The earliest written mention of the settlement is from 1592. There are mineral water springs in the city limits and its surroundings, that helped the settlement to develop as a spa. In the late 19th century and early 20th century Bucovina had only two spa towns: Vatra Dornei and Solca.

The city of Vatra Dornei has two museums :The Ethnographic Museum and The Museum of Natural Sciences, and some old buildings that are considered historical and architectural monuments: the casino, the main spa building, the two railway stations, the town hall, Sentinela Spring, the post office building, a few old churches.

The artistic residence will be dedicated to Vatra Dornei Landscape and entire cultural heritage route of Bucovina Country, including exploration of UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Voronet, Moldovita, Humor and Sucevita.
