expression and its manifestation through different ventures. The Art &

Heritage Association fundamental role is preservation and promotion of

cultural heritage sites and organisation in their region of the events

dedicated to visual arts, performing arts, happenings, conferences and

other kind of actions that will contribute to the welfare of the surroundings

of cultural sites. The museums and galleries are playing a central role in the

implementation of Art and Heritage Association projects. The partnership

between Art and Heritage Association and small country side museums and

galleries is giving good results in terms of organization of happenings and

events related to cultural heritage values from the museums surroundings.

These events are meant to increase the interest of the community on the

cultural values they belong to and to make them aware about how to

preserve them. The instruments used at the educational meetings in the

community museums are UNESCO Conventions on the Protection and

Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, Convention Concerning

the Protection of the World Heritage Cultural and Natural Heritage,

Intangible Heritage Convention and local (national) legislation concerning

preservation and promotion of cultural and historic values.
